Empowering for Change: The Power of a Mindset

Our motto, “Empowering for Change,” reminds me every day that real change starts from within. To support my team and support our mission, I realized that a positive and motivating work environment was essential. Planning and team management are not just administrative tasks; they allow everyone to give their best with complete peace of mind. Encouragement, recognition and gratitude are powerful levers to strengthen motivation and commitment. This is what I discovered during my first year of responsibility as an administrative team leader.

The Power of Gratitude: The Blessing Jar

In her New Year’s address, our President, Jacqueline, encouraged us to count our blessings and to be aware of the positive aspects of our daily lives. To bring this idea to life, we created a Blessing Jar – a jar where everyone can leave a word of gratitude, a recognition, a small victory. I had the honor of decorating it, and beyond the aesthetic, this gesture symbolized the importance I give to gratitude in our daily lives. Seeing these words accumulate will remind us that, despite the challenges, we move forward together and that every effort counts. Gratitude changes our outlook and allows us to better appreciate the work accomplished and the people around us.

Recognition for a Talented Team

I am fortunate to work with a talented and resourceful administrative team. Maro and Rado, for example, are true DIY experts. Recently, they built a shelf from an unused wooden pallet to store our tools, which were previously stored outside. Their initiative and creativity have not only helped optimize our space, but also demonstrate their spirit of collaboration and mutual assistance. I am grateful to have such committed and resourceful colleagues, who advance our work every day with passion and dedication.

As a Leader, one of my goals is to create a framework where everyone feels valued and supported. Mutual recognition is not just a gesture; it is a force that pushes us to grow together. What if we all took a step further towards a culture of gratitude?

Admin Team Leader
