The association AiNA soa takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations.

Our goal is to protect such data as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

As a data subject, you have the following rights, which you can exercise under our contact details:

  • If personal data is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected.
  • You can request the deletion of your data stored by us, unless there are legal obligations that prevent us from deleting it.

Purposes of data processing

Donation data

You choose the financial institution through which you make your payment; in doing so, your financial institution also adheres to its own data protection regulations. The financial institution you choose transmits the donation to us, stating your name, address, the purpose of the donation and, if applicable, a comment. Data on donations received is stored internally and is only visible to AiNA soa- board members who need access to the data to carry out their work. According to Art. 958f OR, the retention period is 10 years after the end of the fiscal year.

Member data

The data collected includes contact information, membership status and history. These are used for association activities, communication, events and legal obligations.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that the security of the data is guaranteed in accordance with the respective risk. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

To ensure that your data is protected during transmission, the transmission takes place with transport encryption (SSL / TLS). In most browsers this is indicated by a padlock symbol in the address bar.

Website – Server Log Files (Cyon)

We automatically collect server log files during your visit to our website to ensure functionality and security. 2 Twint (QR code)

On the donation page you will find an image of a Twint QR code. Using the Twint app on their smartphone, they can scan the code, confirm the payment, and their donation will be transferred.

All payments received via the QR code sticker are anonymous. Consequently, no information about the person making the payment (e.g. cell phone number or name) is transmitted to us. There is also no possibility to leave a comment or similar when making the payment.

If you would still like to receive a donation confirmation, please provide us with your contact details, the time and the amount so that we can allocate your donation.

3. online donations (RaiseNow)

On our website, you have the option of conveniently and securely making donations over the Internet. Debit or credit cards can be used for this purpose. The e-payment platform we use has been developed specifically for non-profit organizations and charities and is from RaiseNow.

RaiseNow complies with all relevant legal requirements and IT security standards and is PCI-DSS certified (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). All transactions take place via a secure SSL connection. The information you provide in connection with your donation, such as your address, the purpose and the amount, is processed by RaiseNow and transmitted to us.

4. Newsletter (Mailchimp)

For the dispatch of our newsletter, we use the dispatch service provider Mailchimp. The registration takes place in the double opt-in process to prevent misuse. We may log your registration data (IP address, date, time) to comply with legal requirements.
