As the year comes to a close, I take a moment with gratitude and humility to reflect on our journey. This year has been marked by significant achievements and valuable lessons that will continue to shape the future of our organization.

My Journey: From Trainer to Leader

At the start of the year, I shared my personal journey within the organization, an evolution that took me from being a medical trainer to becoming the director. This progression has strengthened my commitment to fostering a culture of quality within our organization. My ambition has always been to create an environment where every team member can thrive, collaborate in a spirit of trust and mutual support, and contribute to a common goal.

Leadership Lessons

One of the major lessons I learned this year is the importance of not positioning myself as the standard for the team, even though I strive to be a role model. In aiming for others to meet my standards, I sometimes risked pushing them too hard, potentially creating unnecessary pressure and frustration. I realized that effective leadership is based on listening, empathy, and creating a space where everyone feels supported to give their best.

Achievements of the Year

This year has been rich in accomplishments. We established new collaborations with public and private partners, including prestigious organizations such as UNICEF and GIZ . These partnerships enhance our ability to impact more people through our training programs.

Additionally, some of our trainers attended advanced training in fire safety, a field we plan to incorporate into our range of trainings starting next year. These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to staying at the forefront of training needs.

Towards an Even More Ambitious 2025

As we look ahead, I am confident that the foundations we have laid this year will allow us to continue growing. My goal remains to guide the team toward collective success by cultivating a harmonious environment and supporting everyone’s development.
